The EU Parliament had its elections on June 7, and the political Right made advances in many countries at the expense of socialist parties. I expect this to be a trend as more and more voters are disgusted with the leftists who run the EU and the governments of most European countries.
One possible consequence of this is the pressure on Gordon Brown to call an election in the UK. Let’s hope he does so. Then the voters can kick Labour out of office.
