Kyle Smith of the New York Post does a great job of destroying the New York Times’ explanation for why it did not cover the Van Jones story. It is available here. The NYT argued it didn’t have the people in the Washington Bureau due to the Labor Day holiday. Then it argued Van Jones was not important enough.
Enough is the operative word. The American people have had enough–of Left-wing media bias.
It’s over. The bias of the NYT has been evident for decades and it gets worse every year. It is past time for the New York Times to admit it is a biased paper, that its coverage of Republicans will be hypercritical and its coverage of Democrats will be fawning.
That’s fine, and that’s what its principal constituents in Manhattan and other Left-wing power centers want. But it is not an objective news source. Thankfully, more and more Americans realize this.
