Enough is the operative word.  The American people have had enough–of Left-wing media bias.

It’s over.  The bias of the NYT has been evident for decades and it gets worse every year.  It is past time for the New York Times to admit it is a biased paper, that its coverage of Republicans will be hypercritical and its coverage of Democrats will be fawning.

That’s fine, and that’s what its principal constituents in Manhattan and other Left-wing power centers want. But it is not an objective news source.  Thankfully, more and more Americans realize this.

Some of the key findings:

Obama’s first 100 days were defined by massive spending, aggressive intervention in the private sector and proposals for a huge expansion of the federal government. Yet none of the networks aired a single story on whether Obama’s policies were pushing the U.S. toward socialism, and no reporter used the term “socialist” to describe Obama.

Not only that, network reporters never used the word “liberal” to describe either Barack Obama or his agenda during the first 100 days.

The networks lavished good press on every major initiative of the early Obama administration, including the massive stimulus package, all of the various bailouts, health care, stem cells, the environment and foreign policy.

In the days before the President unveiled his unprecedented $3.5 trillion budget — with a record-shattering $1.75 trillion deficit — four out of five statements on the evening newscasts parroted the White House spin that Obama was a deficit fighter.

Reporters treated Obama’s hugely expensive $787 billion stimulus bill to mainly positive coverage (58 percent positive, 42 percent negative).

The networks applauded Obama’s decision to use taxpayer money to fund embryo-destroying stem cell research (82% positive coverage).

Network coverage of Obama’s mortgage bailout was also positive — 59% of statements supported the bailout or wanted even more intervention, compared to 41% who opposed the bailout as unfair to responsible homeowners.

Reporters heavily skewed their coverage in favor of the President’s actions on global warming (78% positive).

President Obama’s decision to send thousands of additional troops to Afghanistan was greeted by nearly unanimous (91%) positive coverage — a far cry from the highly negative coverage of President Bush’s successful troop surge in Iraq two years ago.

Like Obama and the Democrats, the networks went on a feeding frenzy against big corporate bonuses. The networks aired six times more statements forwarding the “infuriated” reaction to business (104) than criticized politicians’ grandstanding (16).

The networks spent days decrying AIG’s $165 million bonuses, but hardly mentioned the $210 million in bonuses handed out by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the bailed-out mortgage giants with strong Democratic ties). ABC and NBC completely ignored the Fannie and Freddie bonuses, while the CBS Evening News gave it 27 seconds.

This is how propaganda works, right here in the United States.

Whittle has accomplished a tremendous task.  He documents not only the bias of CNN reporters like Susan Roesgen’s hateful and partisan attack on the Tea Party protesters in Chicago on April 15, but also the great consequences of this bias on presidential elections.

He submits that without the 15 point boost media bias gives the Democrats (as Newsweek‘s Evan Thomas stated in 2004), Obama would have won Vermont and D.C.

The costs of media bias are great.  In addition to the problems Whittle identifies, I would add an even larger one:  the destruction of America’s political principles and their supplanting by the political principles of socialism.

According to election fraud lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh, The New York Times decided suddenly to drop all efforts last October to publish stories about the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) because it came to light that ACORN was a big donor to then presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign. The Times is said to have told ACORN insider Anita Moncrief that they were dropping the story because it was a “game changer” for the election and might hurt Obama’s campaign.

Heidelbaugh, who worked for the Penn. Republican State Committee in a vote fraud lawsuit against ACORN, told a House Judiciary subcommittee on March 19 that she had found a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign through the inside information from former ACORN worker Anita Moncrief.

What a depressing tale for those who knew what journalism once was.  Again we see that the Old Media are arms of the Democratic Party.  They did everything they could to ensure Obama was elected, Democrats control the Congress, Governorships, and other critical elected offices.  Where is the Right’s response?  Andrew Breitbart and Big Hollywood seem to be doing it themself.  Well done, Andrew and rest of the good folks at your site, but the rest of us need to help you!

You could see this day coming.  The communists and socialist
movements had been laboring hard to take over the Democratic Party,
educational institutions (from K-graduate school), popular culture and
the media.  Their work is paying off now.  They have elected a
socialist in the guise of a Democrat.  Their hand is on the pilot wheel
of state, and it is hard over Left.

While the Left won, the Republicans decided to resist their
efforts by supporting the measures favored by Democrats rather than
returning to their principles.  So the Republicans have become the
Party of Big Government, but less Big than the socialists want.

What are those Americans who love liberty and its political
principles to do?    The answer is singular in intent but multifaceted
in scope:  Struggle against socialism by learning from the Left and
acting against it–while there is still time.  IfObama’s policies are
not reversed, the country will become socialist.  Americans must
connect again with their political principles.  This means being
educated about them.

The Left cut out many of America’s principles from the educational

system in their effort to place American on the path to socialism.

Individual rights and liberties conflict with the Left’s desire to crush the

individual in favor of group identity.

All Americans can work to require American political principles are taught
again in schools and universities.  Americans can create and support
popular culture that supports America.  When Oprah or other Leftists
appear on television (which is almost always) turn the channel or turn
off the TV.

Recognize that popular culture is a tool of the Left,
and so no longer support it.  If Americans are strong enough to do
this, popular culture will have to change or go extinct.  Leftist
newspapers provide the model.  They refused to change their bias, and
once Americans had a choice through New Media, they baled from the
turgid Leftist rags, leaving the newspapers to fail.  That offers hope, but keep it in perspective, the Left dominates elite media, both Old and New.

Much needs to be done.  We will return to this topic.

Tuesday’s report at Politico.com revealed that Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, conducts daily conference calls with major players in the Old Media–CNN’s Paul Begala and James Carville and ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.  Together they work to make sure Obama’s message dominates the Old Media.

This is sickening.  If it were needed, this is additional datum revealing the Democrats and the Old Media are so closely connected we need to refer to them with one word:  Obaoldmedia?  Omedia? Or BOmedia?

The President and the Press are now one.

These are the people who are supposed to safeguard our freedoms and protect our liberties from abuses of power.  But they have abandoned journalism for politics.  This has never happened in American history.  Too bad for democracy.

They should be fired by their bosses for engaging in such behavior.  Of course, that won’t happen.

When will the movement start to place Barack Obama on our currency?  Before January 20th?  After January 20th?  Six months into the Administration?  Will they wait until President Messiah leaves office?

One thing is certain:  the Left will make a strong effort to knock one of the eminent Founding Fathers or distinguished Presidents from U.S. currency.  They will do so to demonstrate their power and to cement their victory over American principles.

Who will be replaced?  Probably not Grant on the $50.  I bet they will move to replace Lincoln, Hamilton, or Jackson.  What ordinary Americans use in their daily lives.

Creating a new domination is an alternative, but will only be adopted if the push-back from Americans is too great.

Here are the arguments that will be used by the Left and their allies in the Old and New Media:  first, President Messiah has equaled or even exceeded the contribution of one of those august men; and second, President Messiah is a symbol of the new multicultural America.  The first argument is ridiculous on its face, but that will not deter the Democrats and their media allies.  The second argument begs so many questions which will not be addressed:  What is multiculturalism; is it good for America; should America continue down the disastrous multicultural path; when did the American people vote on multiculturalism?

In the war against American principles waged by the Left, no white male bastion may escape transformation.  U.S. currency is no exception.  To leave any element untouched threatens their movement by reminding Americans of their traditional principles and political beliefs and by encouraging young Americans to ask unwelcome questions.  All of it has to go.

So “Where Liberty Dwells” is taking your votes:  When Will the Push Start?  Whom will President Messiah replace?

One would think that the Old Media would be ashamed at their behavior toward Messiah, but you be wrong.  More and more people recognize that the bulk of Old Media are an arm of the Democratic Party.  They will cover for Messiah, not challenge him.  So much for speaking Truth to power.  Or protecting the American People….or the American political process.

Now with the Democrats, it is different.  The Democrats are loath to mention Party affiliation.  So when the Democratic Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, is arrested for attempting to sell the Senate seat vacated by Obama, the networks, AP, and major media have a hard time noting his affiliation.  Giving rise to the Orwellian aspect of the U.S. media:  when a political scandal occurs, and no Party is mentioned, the Democrats must be involved.  No Party mentioned=Democrat.

I have the sense that many Old Media types are embarrassed by their Obamagasm.  But they abandoned their principles long ago.  The soft line will continue during the Obama administration, and the coverage will be even worse in 2012.
