A short review of where are we now in the United States of America…
ever increasing amounts of debt;
a President who clearly does not want to be President, one who is poison to his fellow party-members, and one who has left no golf course behind;
disaster in the Gulf
a mosque that simply must be built almost on top of the 9/11 site in NYC, with support from NYC officials, in what is a disgusting act;
palpable anger in the country about the direction the Democrats have taken the country;
lawlessness on the border, with the Democrats attacking Arizona for attempting the solve the problem the federal government created;
federal judges overturning the will of the voters, fine for the judges to do so, they are aiming for higher courts if the Democrats stay in office, but the people need to remember their actions every November;
a media so invested in Obama, and so supportive of him that one wonders why anyone would watch or read them unless to get a sense of the role of the media in North Korea

But there is something more going on:
One of Orwell’s great lines in 1984 was that “the chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 25 grams…” Their are some truths so profound the Democratic Media Complex can’t hide them. One of these truths is that Americans are beginning to recognize the influence of the radical Left on the Democrats, and want none of it any more. Time for all Americans to recognize that radicals have control of the Democratic Party and will continue to march that Party, and the country when they can, toward socialism.

Past time to fire these guys….

It is a great victory for socialism. It is a horrible day for America, and American political principles.

But if you were to listen to the debate and, frankly, how some of you went after this bill, you’d think that this thing was some Bolshevik plot. No, I mean, that’s how you guys — (applause) — that’s how you guys presented it.

Hmmm. I don’t remember Republicans ever raising the term Bolshevism or Bolshevik. But both are clearly on the President’s mind. Could it be because his health care proposal(s) are not at all about health care, but wealth transfer and increasing state control. Goals one might easily mistake for Bolshevik goals?

The event should be celebrated by all Americans.  It was a great hour for the United States of America.  The goal of defeating the Soviet Union and liberating the peoples of Central and Eastern Europe were realized.

Reflecting on the event, it is clear that it was the end for only one form of socialism.  Other forms remain, and are alive and well in the United States, Canada, and European countries.

President Obama is not going to Berlin to celebrate the demise of socialism.  Curious that.

He was so anxious to go there during the campaign.  He is not going, no doubt, because it is not something he wants to celebrate.  He is laboring hard to bring socialism to the United States, and does not want to call attention to the evil that is socialism or to the joy of the millions who liberated themselves from its tyranny.

Better to ignore it.  The fellow travelers in the Old Media will ignore it as well since it makes all things socialistic, such as state control of the economy, look bad.  Hollywood and the rest of popular culture has as well.

Americans, and freedom-loving peoples worldwide, must realize that socialism comes in many forms.  There was the Soviet form and it was defeated.

Other forms have not been defeated.  Particularly, the Gramscian-Frankfurt School form, which operates slowly, and through established institutions, like the educational system, media, popular culture, and the Democratic Party.

1989 is something to celebrate and should be celebrated especially given the efforts to ignore it.  But while celebrating we must remain aware that socialism has not been defeated.  It operates under different names but the goal is the same.

1989 is a year of freedom and casting off governmental oppression.  2009 is a year of government expansion and inviting governmental oppression under the guise of helping those less fortunate.

Freedom loving people must be aware of socialism in all of its forms.  The form advanced by Barack Obama is as great a threat to liberty as any other form of socialism.

According to Mark Steyn, here is part of what she said:

“The third lesson and tip actually comes from two of my favorite political philosophers, Mao Zedong and Mother Teresa. Not often coupled with each other, but the two people that I turn to most to basically deliver a simple point, which is: You’re going to make choices. … But here’s the deal: These are your choices; they are no one else’s. In 1947, when Mao Zedong was being challenged within his own party on his own plan to basically take China over, Chiang Kai-Shek and the nationalist Chinese held the cities, they had the army. … They had everything on their side. And people said ‘How can you win? How can you do this against all of the odds against you?’ And Mao Zedong says, ‘You fight your war and I’ll fight mine.’ You don’t have to accept the definition of how to do things. … You fight your war, you let them fight theirs. Everybody has their own path.”

This is the most Leftist administration in the history of America. That they have recruited communists is a matter of record. The fact that Dunn would priase a communist killer is disgusting.

Anita Dunn must resign now.  Time to take back your country, Americans.

It is something you would expect in a totalitarian country, not America.

Those who value American principles had better come up with a response soon, or the Left is going to replace American values completely. The Left politicized the schools and it is past time for Americans to join the fight to counter such disgusting propaganda.

Reagan also recognizes what is necessary to stop it: Appreciating the American Revolution and the rights the American Revolutionaries gave Americans. Efforts to imprison Americans through socialism have been attempted before. They have been defeated.

It is time to apply those lessons to the latest and most powerful effort to imprison Americans through the failed ideology of socialism.

What the Left doesn’t get is that Americans don’t trust him with our children.  They don’t because they are suspicious the teachers’ union and the revisionist American history taught to their kids. The simple fact is that school kids are in an environment dominated by socialists.

Comrade Ayers and his ilk took over the American educational system.  The socialist message dominates the NEA.  There are additional socialist messages in textbooks.  We know Obama is a socialist.

Parents are suspicious for reasons of ideology and the age of the kids.  We don’t want American kids learning that socialism is acceptable.  It is not.  It has ruined individual liberty in every country its touched. While Obama didn’t tout that message this time, he, or his allies, will be back, with elements of the socialist message.

How about teaching our kids to be Americans.  How about teaching them the principles of individual freedom and liberty.  Say no to socialists and socialism, no matter its guise.

Here are the political facts of life:

First, the Democrats control the presidency;

Second, the Democrats control both Houses of Congress;

Third, the Democrats have great influence and probably soon will control the Supreme Court;

Fourth, the Democrats have enormous influence in the media, so much so that Americans should consider the media and the Democratic Party one entity;

Fifth, professors at American universities and college overwhelmingly are supporters of the Democratic Party;

Sixth, the Democrats and their union allies control primary and secondary education;

Seventh, Democrats control Hollywood;

Eighth, Democrats control the other branches of the entertainment industry, television, theater, and music.

The result:  The Democrats have brought about the revolution the 60s radicals wanted by seizing control of Democratic Party (would JFK recognize it today?), popular culture, media, the educational system.  By constantly bombarding Americans and young Americans particularly, with their radical message, once was radical is now common wisdom.  They have turned American youth into a botnet:  the Democrats have taken over the operating system of their brains and those messages are repeated constantly.

The agenda of the 60s radicals now in power is to make America a socialist country.  How far will the Democratic Party go?  It looks like all the way, since there is no countervailing pressure in it.  Of course, it all will be done gradually, in a stepped process, so as not to frighten anyone.  In time, Americans will get used to expanding state power and their loss of liberty.

But for those of us who remember America’s political principles here are some questions to ask the Democrats, perhaps in town hall meetings:

How important are individual rights and liberties to you?

Individual rights are the foundation of this country’s  political principles, and allowed the country to prosper for two hundred years.  By rejecting individual liberty and freedom, your policies are destroying the political foundation of the country and replacing them with principles anchored in the failed ideology of socialism.  So the query is a simple one:  How can you call yourself an American?

Do individual rights triumph group rights, or vice versa?

How can individual rights and liberties be preserved while government power expands?  This has never happened in history, why will it now?

Once you have replaced America’s political principles with socialism, what will you do then, move on to communism?

Judicial temperament. Plenty of judges are brusque or imperious; by itself, temperament is not a disqualifying factor for a judgeship. But when the Almanac of the Federal Judiciary cites lawyers calling her “a terror on the bench,” “nasty,” “overly aggressive” and a “bully,” that begins to raise some of the same reservations that Democrats in 1987 expressed about Judge Robert Bork when they blocked his promotion to the Supreme Court.

c Lack of impartiality. The judicial oath requires a judge to swear to “administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and … faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me.” In formal speeches, Judge Sotomayor has endorsed the view that “there is no objective stance” and has argued that “the aspiration to impartiality is just that – it’s an aspiration because it denies the fact that we are by our experiences making different choices than others.”

c Denial of the need for stable laws. It is a “public myth that law can be certain and stable,” she wrote for the Suffolk University Law Review in 1996. Without legislative guidance, she wrote, judges have a right and even a duty to “develop a novel approach … that pushes the law in a new direction.”

c Ethnic grievance-mongering. Judge Sotomayor on seven different occasions said almost identical variants of the statement that “inherent physiological or cultural differences” may lead “a wise Latina … [to] more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

c Race discrimination. By now the case in infamous: Judge Sotomayor ruled in Ricci v. DeStefano that white firefighters, even one with a handicap, can be denied a promotion they had earned merely because on that occasion no black colleague earned the same promotion.

c Property rights. Judge Sotomayor ruled in Didden v. Village of Port Chester that a town can, without a public hearing, seize private property (for a fee) from an unwilling seller and use it for the same purpose the seller intended. In this case, the force of law was used to block a CVS and replace it with a Walgreens.

The right to bear arms. In U.S. v. Sanchez-Villar, Judge Sotomayor ruled “that the right to possess a gun is clearly not a fundamental right.” Judge Sotomayor ruled in Maloney v. Cuomo that a state can prohibit private ownership of martial-arts sticks.

c Jailbird voting. Against hundreds of years of tradition, Judge Sotomayor ruled in Hayden v. Pataki that currently imprisoned felons have a right to vote if a disproportionate number of them is black or Latino.

The case is open and shut. Sotomayor is a racist, favoring Hispanics and other minorities over whites. Her opinions are of the radical Left. The Sotomayor nomination must be sunk.
